Father God
please help me to rightly handle the word of truth
do not let me lead your little ones astray, and use me to bring them closer to you.
Guide me in my boldness, not to be harsh or unloving but truthful and sincere.
Keep me from being tossed to and fro by many strange doctrines.
And crush my pride so that I will not dishonor Your name.
Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Word
Shepherd me from creating divisions in Your body and from leading Your sheep away.
Show me how You loved and confronted false teachings, and let me honor Your name in all that I teach, and if what I teach is not true, crush my mouth of heresy and work on my heart so that I will repent
Do not let me twist the scriptures to my own destruction,
chase after me if I ever am gone astray
bless You Lord Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit help me O great Helper,
teach me O great Teacher
use me to work in others and bring them to the truth.
Use me to hold every thought captive and make it obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Make my false words stumble and my truthful ones abound in boldness and love
Guide me in wisdom and discernment to tell the truth as it ought to be told,
and use me for
Your glory
the Father’s glory
and the Lord Jesus’ glory
